Route Information

Please note the following official route for this year’s GM Financial Parade of Lights:

  • Starts on Weatherford Street at Throckmorton Street
    • Please note – THERE IS NO VIEWING WEST OF THROCKMORTON DUE TO STAGING OPERATIONS. Please do not attempt to view the parade on Weatherford anywhere west of Throckmorton as the parade is being staged in that area and you’ll be asked to leave.
  • Proceeds East on Weatherford Street past the Tarrant County Courthouse, then turns South on Commerce Street.
  • Continues South on Commerce Street, and turns West on 9th Street.
  • Moves West on 9th Street in front of the Fort Worth Convention Center, then turns North on Houston Street
  • Parade proceeds North on Houston Street to 2nd Street! It turns West on 2nd Street. The Parade will NOT PROCEED NORTH OF 2ND STREET!
  • Moves West on 2nd Street to Throckmorton Street, and turns South
  • Ends at 3rd Street and Throckmorton Street – it will turn West onto 3rd Street back into the Staging Area.
  • There is NO VIEWING on 3rd Street West of Throckmorton Street.
