Applications for entering a float in the 2012 parade, scheduled for November 23, are now open! The theme for our 30th Annual Parade: The Wonder of it All!
The 2012 Chesapeake Energy Parade of Lights presented by CHASE, is scheduled for Friday, November 23, 2012.

By applying for and being accepted into the Chesapeake Energy Parade of Lights, you agree to abide by these policies, and allow Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc., or its assignees, to use your entry, its likeness and the likeness of any and all entry participants in any future promotional or marketing materials.
You also agree to have the requisite number of lights on either your walkers, float, vehicle, horse and/or carriage. For our 30th anniversary, you will have to pass an inspection at the staging area, and, if your entry is found to be deficient in lights, you will be pulled from the lineup. The parade is televissed in HD, and our lights are what keep us at the top of the attractions in the Metroplex over the holidays!
The deadline for applications will be Friday, October 5. Notices will go out to qualifying participants via email by Friday, October 19.
Judging Results! Congratulations to all of our entries who our judges selected as top in their categories. This year our panel of judges present the following awards:
Grand Prize Winner: Trophy awarded for the best overall entry, commercial or non-commercial, selected following the parade. This entry must be of a holiday nature.
