The XTO Energy Parade of Lights is dedicated to preserving a top quality community parade with thousands of lights and a tremendous entertainment value, and there are several ways YOU can participate in Texas' top holiday parade! We are currently accepting applications.
- Enter a Unit - We will open applications for consideration for this year's parade on July 1. If you have a commercial entry, or are interested in sponsoring a professional float, please Email us for more information.
- Purchase seats for your entire family, or purchase a block of seats and celebrate the holidays Downtown with employees, clients or other guests. Seats will go on sale on August 15.
- Volunteer! The parade and our afternoon activities wouldn't happen without our hundreds of dedicated volunteers, needed to walk in the parade, help with staging...and more! Our online signup form will be available on July 1.
- Walk! Join us for the annual Mrs. Renfro’s Salsa Night of Lights Fitness Walk, a 1.58-mile walk that travels the XTO Energy Parade of Lights’ parade route in downtown Fort Worth in front of thousands of spectators on parade night. The “Night of Lights Fitness Walk” begins promptly at 5:40 p.m., and all walkers will have reserved seats in our special “Walk” section at the conclusion of the walk. Sign up beginning August 15.
We are focused more than ever on the quality of our entries. Thousands of people from around the Metroplex join us downtown, some purchasing front row seats, and our float participants provide the show!
You're invited to join us on our one-mile parade route with colorful illuminated floats, beautiful antique cars, marching bands, equestrian units, horse-drawn carriages and a cast of delightful characters dressed in their holiday best. The unforgettable parade and an annual visit from Santa Claus and his elves will make the XTO Energy Parade of Lights a fun-filled holiday experience for the entire family.
