The XTO Energy Parade of Lights is dedicated to preserving a top quality community parade with thousands of lights and a tremendous entertainment value, and there are several ways YOU can participate in Texas' top holiday parade! We are currently accepting applications.

  • Enter a Unit - You may apply to enter a unit in the 2014 Parade of Lights!  Enter a decorated float, performance, equestrian or walking unit or a specially decorated vehicle.  Our online form is easy to complete, and our 2014 fees will start at $65 for an approved, non-profit organization.  Commercial fees (which include broadcast time on TXA-21) are only $950.  Sponsorship packages with commercial time on the broadcast are also available.  Email us for more information on Sponsorships.
  • Purchase seats for your entire family, or purchase a block of seats and celebrate the holidays Downtown with employees, clients or other guests. Click here to purchase seats online, or email us for special pricing for blocks of 25 or more.
  • Volunteer!  The parade and our afternoon activities wouldn't happen without our hundreds of dedicated volunteers, needed to walk in the parade, help with staging...and more!  Our online signup form is now available. Click here to learn of the various areas in need of your assistance.
  • Walk! Join us for the annual Mrs. Renfro’s Salsa Night of Lights Fitness Walk, a 1.58-mile walk that travels the XTO Energy Parade of Lights’ parade route in downtown Fort Worth in front of thousands of spectators on parade night.  The “Night of Lights Fitness Walk” begins promptly at 5:40 p.m., and all walkers will have reserved seats in our special “Walk” section at the conclusion of the walk. Click here to signup.

With the addition of broadcast sponsor, Tarrant County College and TXA-21, the broadcast of the entire parade will be shown on Friday night following the Dallas Stars gam and again later in the Holiday Season. We are focused more than ever on the quality of our entries.  Thousands of people from around the Metroplex join us downtown, some purchasing front row seats, and our float participants provide the show!
