Parade Information

We're excited to announce a new, long-term Title Sponsor for the Parade of Lights, XTO Energy!  An incredible partner for the community, and for Downtown, XTO's campus includes many of the buildings along our traditional parade route, and is a perfect fit for Fort Worth's holiday celebration.  Welcome, XTO!

The 32nd annual XTO Energy Parade of Lights will be held November 28, 2014. With over 100 highly illuminated entries, the Parade of Lights will kick off the Holiday Season in style.

From Belknap Street to Commerce Street, and around 9th Street, then over to Houston Street and up to Weatherford, the parade will transform Downtown with the theme of, "Together for the Holidays!"

Our online ticketing system will open for seat sales for the 2014 XTO Energy Parade of Lights on August 15," and applications for parade entries will open on August 1, 2014.

This year, we're bringing back our toy collection before the parade by the Cowboy Santas, and, based on our success last year, we'll bring back our efforts to make this the, "Cleanest Holiday Parade in America," through our Reverse Litter partnership.  And, the Holiday Fun Zone will be back in full swing, with longer hours, in General Worth Square.

TXA-21 will also broadcast the parade in its entirety, presented by Tarrant County College, both online and on channel 21.

Sundance Square Plaza will be decorated in full holiday regalia, and Santa, of course, will make his appearance at the Plaza following the Parade.  For more information about Sundance Square Plaza activities, click here.

We hope you'll join us this year!
